How Does it Work? VR Junkies is an arcade-style setup with Virtual Reality. Just like with an arcade, you can come play one of their exciting games at VR Junkies’ location. The difference between VR Junkies and a traditional arcade is that they are focused on VR gaming experiences.

Upon arrival, new visitors get a safety briefing. Then the staff goes over all the controls and shows you how to exit a game and choose a new one. Throughout your visit, staff pays ongoing attention to help you have a great experience, sync up with other gamers, etc. There is a big screen TV above each VR bay, so bystanders can see what the player is seeing. VR Junkies also has leaderboards, local and international tournaments, and the coolest new VR games. VR Junkies is like nothing you have ever experienced!

Party Time! VR Junkies can play host to a variety of events, including parties for kids or adults. They specialize in catering to your needs either in-store or at your location (location dependent). Offsite Events. VR Junkies can do offsite events. For example, they have done events for ASU. They have also visited retirement homes. There, they have utilized Google Earth to show residents the street level view of the house where they grew up, so they can see what it looks like now.

Mobile app. VR Junkies’ mobile app allows customer to track their own account. They can keep track of their points, get deals specifically through the app that aren’t available anywhere else, and track their ranking globally. Customers can also personalize their account with their own gamer tag through the app.

Meet the Owner: A few years ago, VR Junkies owner, Tawn, took her son to a VR Junkies location. They loved it so much, Tawn began looking into starting her own VR Junkies franchise location. She learned that the Chandler location was for sale and bought it in Sept 2017.
