After doing research, Marianna discovered that the nuclear plants nearby and numerous factories make the U.S. air not so great. Marianna decided that something needed to change, so she started salt therapy and her health greatly improved.

Salt Therapy. Salt Therapy is 100% natural, with NO side effects! The Salt Box uses medical grade pure salt, so it’s like being at the ocean (but more concentrated). Over 40 years of research in Russia supports the ample health benefits that salt therapy provides. With ocean wave sounds and nice lighting, salt therapy is relaxing, too. And with a two-person capacity (two adults or one adult and two kids), it’s convenient that kids are free with an adult purchase. You can also book your treatment with your kids, a relative, or a friend. Or go solo! The bottom line: you’ll never be paired with someone you don’t know. 

The Salt Box is also completely safe for people with high blood pressure, because they’re not eating the salt, but instead breathing it. Historically, salt therapy rooms are much bigger and sometimes located in caves. But thanks to Marianna’s engineering background, she calculated that smaller rooms actually give faster results. Of course, consistency is key! It’s recommended that individuals do salt therapy twice weekly and 20 minutes extra to keep salt in their system, doing its job in their bronchial and nasal.

Permanent Makeup. The Salt Box also offers permanent makeup! This is great for middle-age women who tend to lose fullness in their eyebrows and lips. And the techniques used today are way better than in the 1980s. Marianna starts out conservative with light shades. Then, she tells her client to go home and see how she feels about it in a couple of weeks. The client can come back if they want their makeup darker. 

Tattoo Removal. The Salt Box even does tattoo removal, which Marianna likes to say can “erase the mistakes of our youth.” The Salt Box offers big discounts to people getting out of jail, working to get a job and reintegrate into society (clients must provide they are looking for work to qualify). Of course, The Salt Box cannot guarantee complete removal of tattoos. It takes multiple sessions, with time for removal depending on color, size, and whether the tattoo was done professionally or is homemade. Gaps between each session lasts 10 weeks to give the lymphatic system time to remove the disintegrated ink particles. Because Marianna has high standards, she takes her time and removes the tattoo at a safe rate. Even if the client requests Marianna to just “blow it off,” doing so would cause trauma and scars. Which is why Marianna only removes tattoos safely!
