Dave Clark and Jeff Hempleman started Sound Xpression in 2003, building demonstration cars for various audio equipment manufacturers. This demanding environment was the ultimate place to perfect their craft as these demonstration cars had to be tough and solid enough for constant cross country travel. In addition, they also had to be easy to use and service. After several years of this, Dave and Jeff began doing custom work for regular customers.

A lifetime of experience. Dave has been working on car audio before he was even allowed to drive. He loved to spend his weekends working on his older brother’s and mother’s cars. That led him to car audio school in 1992 and his first job in 1993. Some would say he was born to do this.

Installing car audio is not all they do. Jeff and Dave can do just about anything that the customer requires including fabrication, enclosures, interiors, fiberglass work, trim, carbon fiber accents and metal work.

Not just cars. Sound Xpression’s expertise extends to boats, ATVs, and motorcycle installs as well. One of their favorite projects was installing a custom audio system in a Harley Fatboy, hiding components inside stock looking compartments for a seamless look.

Installs for all budgets. They have experience working with customers from all backgrounds and budgets, meaning Dave and Jeff can find the right item for you and you car at a price you can live with.
