“It’s Your Money – Spend It In St. Louis MO.”

Raptor Rescue Inc. Raptor Rescue Inc. is a dedicated bird of prey rescue organization that steps in when raptors have no other resources, providing critical capture, first aid, care, and release efforts. We work closely with corporate entities and major companies that recognize the importance of protecting these magnificent birds, often donating $450 per rescue operation to ensure each raptor gets the expert care it needs. These contributions help cover transportation, capture, and first aid expenses, allowing us to continue saving injured and orphaned birds of prey. By supporting Raptor Rescue Inc., corporations play a vital role in conservation and wildlife preservation efforts.
The Mission. Raptor Rescue is on a mission to support and care for wounded or injured birds of prey. Whereas some individuals might see these injured fowl as a lost cause, Raptor Rescue’s team takes a different approach—they believe birds of prey are deserving of quality care and a chance to rehabilitate.
Rescued. The Raptor Rescue team is always honored to provide first aid to birds that are facing injuries, whether they’re minor or major injuries. In fact, the team works to stabilize life-threatening injuries and make sure these feathered creatures are safely transported to an avian hospital that can treat the issue.
Safety First. The Raptor Rescue team is composed of handlers and an on-site team who are well versed in safely and carefully dealing with raptors who are in distress, which lets these birds get the help they need. At Raptor Rescue, safety is always a priority, and the crew has plenty of experience. In fact, Michael Beran, Chance Beran, and the rest of the team have been actively practicing bare hands rescue on hundreds of animals, including bats, squirrels, skunks, and hawks.
Injured Birds. What measures should you take if you find an injured or ill raptor? Well, the first step is to contact Raptor Rescue at 833-FLY-HAWK, or reach out to your local Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. The good news is that when you call Raptor Rescue, they have the know-how to get birds to the appropriate avian hospital for treatment.
Of course, you should maintain distance from the raptor, avoiding touching or approaching the bird. Ultimately, it’s common for fledglings to be out of their nest, even if they can’t fly completely and haven’t officially left the care of their parents. If you interfered with this process, it would be detrimental to the bird. For these reasons—and for your own well being—please let the trained professionals of Raptor Rescue make the distinction between a fledgling that is completely healthy or an injured bird that needs care.
Education. Raptor Rescue is passionate about educating their community! That’s why they proudly have both community-based efforts AND online sources. The educational materials they use help people recognize the importance of these birds of prey while also teaching them the importance of protecting these incredible creatures.
Service Area. Pevely, west to Cedar Hill and out to Eureka, it also goes northwest to Wentzville as well as all the area in between. We have a very large territory so we can maximize customer base around St Louis.
