About. Pool Boy Motors & More owner, Ruben, saw a need that wasn’t being filled: there weren’t reliable pool motor repair options. That’s why in 2020 Ruben decided to rebuild pool motors for Arizonians instead of having them purchase new ones. While opening his shop was financially risky–with the last of his savings buying parts and tools–Ruben was able to make his investment back on his first job, which allowed him to keep his business growing.
