About. Angela Needs Shipps, owner of Picture This! Studios, studied film photography in college. Although Angela has always loved photography, she also needed a job with flexible hours so she could be home with her child. While photography was the perfect fit, it was also a male-dominated industry at the time. Undeterred, Angela forged on, hustling her way to the top of the Kansas City photography industry.

Today, she’s the best, most established photographer in the KC area and is a true veteran of her craft. Angela has 24 years of experience and, after photographing over 800 weddings and more babies than she can count, she can make sure her clients receive the pictures they’re dreaming of!

Doing It All. While most photographers specialize in one area, that’s not what Angela decided to do! Since Angela is a degreed, classically trained portrait artist, she can do it all. In fact, it’s not unusual for Angela to photograph a wedding and then later photograph the happy couple’s child. Because she does weddings, maternity, baby, family, sports, and senior photos, Angela can be your one-stop photography shop.
