Meet the Owner: Tylor Hicks, Mesa Human Performance Center owner, was an active duty soldier from 1988 to 1995. Hicks went back into the military and served as a National Guardsman in 2010. During that time, he went to Officer’s Candidate School and became an officer. Hicks tried Crossfit while in Virginia for military training, and he loved it!

Hicks later returned to Mesa and joined a local gym. In November of last year, he had the opportunity to purchase the gym. Hicks says Mesa HPC is more than just a fitness facility. Most members become friends and do stuff outside of the gym, like hiking, holiday get-togethers, etc. Mesa HPC focuses on the community aspect, which actually helps members train more frequently. “When you feel like you’re accountable to others, you come more often,” Hicks adds.

Let Mesa HPC empower you physically and mentally to unlock your full potential through functional movement and a growth in mindset!

Mesa Human Performance Center Reviews

“I can’t say enough good things about this gym and the community here. I started 3 years ago and can’t even believe the progress I’ve made since then! I’m doing things I would have never even thought about trying before. The coaches and members here are motivating and encouraging and the workouts are constantly changing, which keeps things interesting and you don’t get bored or in a rut of doing the same thing all the time. I can’t recommend this gym enough and I highly encourage all of you who are on the fence about it, to just give it a try and see for yourself!!”—Erin C.

“This gym makes fitness FUN. The workouts are challenging, but doable for whatever level you’re at . I like that there is a wide variety of people at different fitness levels so anyone can feel like they fit in here. They allow you to join in on the classes for a week to see if you like it before you join. The Boot camp is a great place to start. You show up to get fit, but what keeps you coming back is the people because you will make great friends while you’re here!”—Michele S.

“Recently signed up with the recommendation of my sister. Just finished a week two and feeling so much better. I deal with sciatic and hip pain. Since exercising I have not needed to visit my chiropractor. My energy level is much higher, feel more productive at work, sleep better, and love that I’m putting me first. Right now focused on getting to class and moving. Next is eating much healthier as I’m borderline diabetic. Highly recommend that you give it a try.”—Terry F.

“This place is amazing. I love the work outs, people and atmosphere! Need a good place with accountability and friends, this is the place!”—Danielle G.

“The best atmosphere for beginners or season athletes. All the coaches are great and push you to be your best . This is my family love this place.”—Larry D.
