About. Located just about an hour from St. Louis, Meramec Valley Campground in Cuba, Missouri, is the perfect space to get out of the city and enjoy the country in…whenever you want! Although Meramec Valley Campground is member-owned, it’s also open to the public year-round. So when you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, look no further than Meramec Valley Campground!

Members enjoy 45 nights of free camping per year!
After 45 nights, you’ll only have to pay a $7 per night usage fee, or you can volunteer 30 hours of work for 30 more nights of free camping (see below). Meramec Valley Campground’s members get a warranty deed, which makes them part owners of the campground.

What are some perks of being a member? Members get to enjoy all of the amenities, save on fuel when their camper is stored on-site, and they can enjoy the spotting service. Fr a small fee, a staff member will set up your camper on your reserved site ready for your arrival, then puts it in storage when you leave. 

Plus, being a member is cost effective, because camping just 2 holiday weekends and 5 other weekends a year will save you money compared to the public camping fees. What’s more, Meramec Valley Campground is also proud to offer a volunteer program—”30 for 30″ —to members. This means that members who volunteer at the park for 30 hours receive an additional 30 nights of FREE camping, an incentive that is reset annually.  

Hours. Meramec Valley Campground is proud to be open to members all year round! Not a member? The good news is that you can still enjoy the park when it’s open to the public May through October 30. 

Permanent Campsite. At Meramec Valley Campground, some campsites are permanent, which means you can keep your camper on-site, set up, and ready to camp in any time for up to 21 days at a time! After 21 days, you can then move to another site for another 21 days. You can do this six times per year on a reservation system. This allows your camper to be on a site, ready to enjoy, virtually all summer long. You can even set up a park model on these sites. Nice!

Renovated. Meramec Valley Campground has undergone extensive renovations to the electric, water, and sewer services. The campgrounds themselves have also been renovated, giving you and your family a top-notch, up-to-date camping spot. Campsites have been updated with new 30 or 50 amp electric, some have been widened and leveled with new gravel to serve class A, B, and C campers.

Amenities & Events. Meramec Valley Campground offers 3 pools, including an Olympic size pool (which is being refurbished and will tentatively reopen July 4th). What’s more, campers can enjoy the 4 acre fully stocked lake.

Ready for fun events? Meramec Valley Campground features 4th of July fireworks, golf cart parades, poker runs, 50/50 raffles, Labor Day margaritas, a Memorial Day craft fair, kid’s scavenger hunts, and so much. “Very large RV park, level sites.  Early in the season, so nothing was open and there were a lot of renovations that seemed to be happening.  Didn’t love how the bathrooms and showers were set up – very open, did not seem private enough.  Management was very friendly.” -J.R.

“So much fun to be at!! Good for families with kids or just friends. So many activities for any and all people. Bingo (for adults and kids, golf cart parades for the kids, swimming, a nice park, snack shack, basketball court, mini golf, a little lake. There were vendors the last time we went this year on Memorial weekend. It’s nice to be able to camp and enjoy all of this while the older kids can also be away from the parents and enjoy themselves too!! The 50/50 raffle is awesome when being held. I feel this place focuses on family fun activities while investing back into themselves to keep the campground up and running smoothly. I can’t say enough about this place, it is great!! The only problem I’ve had was the kiddy pool being slick when getting in, otherwise you won’t regret coming here. There are washers and dryers, showers, bathrooms everywhere. I told my friend (we always camped together) and last spring she and her family checked it out and loved it so much they bought a camper, lot and membership.
