Stan Brimley, the founder of Door and Trim Specialists, was first exposed to building and construction by his grandfather, Grandpa Roy. Grandpa Roy was a man’s man who could built anything with just a basic set of tools: a skill saw, hand drill, a table saw, hammer and hand planers.

In the early 1960s when Montana was opened up for homesteading, Grandpa Roy bought some property and built his own house. There really wasn’t anything that Grandpa Roy couldn’t build or fix.

Following in his footsteps. Stan jokes that he should have called his business “Door Man Roy”, as the entirety of the business is dedicated to perfection, honest work, and great service.

He wants to bring his grandfather’s work ethic to life through his business and that’s what they strive to do every day.

Even though Stan graduated with a degree in economics, his first job out of college was building custom homes. He has been in the construction business for the last 40 years and brings his passion and experience to every job that Door and Trim Specialists does.

More than just doors. Door and Trim Specialists does more than just doors. They are also very skilled with trim, molding, shelving, baseboards and windows as well.

The entire process, from installation to finish, is performed by Door & Trim Specialists crews. They don’t use subcontractors, which means that Door and Trim Specialists controls the quality of the work from start to finish.
