With no appointment needed, walk-ins are welcome, and there is no waiting in line. Plus, CWSOA is open 10am-6pm Monday thru Saturday, so you’ll find their services fit your schedule.

Tuberculin (TB) Skin Testing —Both mobile and in-office health clinic services are run by licensed or registered nurses who adhere to strict quality control standards as required by Arizona Department of Health Services and the Arizona State Board of Nursing. The nursing staff is very knowledgeable in their area of expertise and provide the best services possible to their clients.

Hearing and Vision Screening—CWSOA provides hearing and vision screening for school children throughout Arizona. They work jointly with the community to provide resources for those children who are in need of referral to physicians or specialists as the result of the outcome of their hearing or vision screening. In the school setting, CWSOA’s goal is to identify those children who may be at academic risk due to vision or hearing concerns and, when indicated, to assure each child at potential risk has the availability of proper healthcare to facilitate evaluation and treatment.

Meet the Owners: Don Gelo and his wife, Audrey, purchased Community Wellness and Safety of Arizona LLC a few years ago. Audrey worked there three years prior to that, having worked her way up to master all of the services that the company offered. When the owners wanted to sell the business, they approached Audrey and Don. It was a classic case of the right people being in the right place at the right time.

It was also a case of Don and Audrey being the right people with the skill set needed to take CWSOA to new levels of service and customer satisfaction. Before purchasing the business, Don managed finance for corporate entities in his previous career, and Audrey did administrative work in her past corporate life. Together, they are successfully propelling Community Wellness and Safety of Arizona LLC forward to meet the needs of residents in Gilbert and surrounding areas!
