About. Christopher Barker’s entry into magic started back in college, when he learned his first card trick after meeting a magician in Edinburgh, Scotland. It didn’t take long for Christopher to want to dive deeper! He later purchased his first magic book and from there began practicing and performing at a pizza parlor. Now, as a high school Spanish teacher with over 10+ years of classroom and coaching experience, Christopher is ecstatic to share his passion for magic and performing with others! Whether you need to book a magician for a kid’s party or an event for adults, Christopher specializes in close-up magic and will bring his ability to entertain and enchant audiences to any event.
Connections. Christopher knows that every person is more than just a number, and that’s why he describes his presentation style as a way to “connect through magic.” What’s this mean? Christopher also takes the time to teach kids how to be an engaging communicator, teaching them methods and performance techniques that will help ignite their creativity and performance abilities.
