Meet the Owner: Brandon, owner of Brandon’s Comics, was a professional gambler and stock market investor. He bought and sold diamonds, gold, stamps, etc. When Brandon saw the direction the market was going several years ago, he cashed out and started looking for other investments.
Then one day, Brandon got into comics through the TV show “Walking Dead,” which is based on a comic book series. Brandon saw the investment potential in comics, so he decided to go all in and opened Brandon’s Comics.
The Future of Comics. Brandon is a certified CGC comic book grader and authenticator. Certified Guaranty Company, also known as CGC, is a Sarasota, Florida, comic book grading service. It is the first independent and impartial third-party grading service for comic books. Getting comics graded is the future of the business, and Brandon’s Comics is the place to get it done!
Brandon holds a Diamond CGC certification, which allows him to obtain new issues. He also has over 60,000 back issues in stock and gets new ones in regularly. All their CGC books are ones they sent in themselves, and autographed books are by artists they’ve met at comic cons. As an authorized CGC dealer, you can bring in your books to Brandon’s Comics, and they’ll we’ll pack and ship them for you, get your books back faster, and offer additional services not available to individual members. Promoting Literacy. Brandon believes strongly in literacy and in helping kids with literacy. Comics are a great gateway to reading. If a kid gets an A on a school test, they bring it in, show Brandon, and he’ll let them pick out a comic from his special selection for FREE!
