About. Howie, owner of Howie’s Happy Dog Training, boasts 53 years of experience—no one has as much experience or credentials! Howie took his first dog training class when he was just 17 years old, and he ended up going to school for psychology. While in college, he took an animal psychology class and loved it, so Howie decided to become the very best dog trainer around. As Howie kept learning about dog training, he started his own training school while working full time.

He will give you the reasoning and instruction, but you must be dedicated to the daily homework sessions or you’ll be wasting your time. There were a couple of weeks here and there that I wasn’t able to give as much of the daily time with Lola and I could tell it put us behind, but we finished our training and very pleased with everything.
