Well, Michael was in college obtaining his finance degree when he started working at Tanner Customs. There, he ran their ice cream food truck with another employee named Dylan. While the two started out as co-workers, they soon became business partners! When Michael graduated from college, he and Dylan bought the truck from Tanner Customs and started Melt Box Ice Cream. These days, they have two ice cream trucks, as well as a brick-and-mortar shop in North Kansas City.
Food Truck. While Melt Box Ice Cream has a brick-and-mortar shop, they’re first and foremost an ice cream food truck company. With Michael’s business degree and entrepreneurial experience, he makes sure the catering process is super simple. In the corner of the out door area is a small stage where there occasionally performers during busier times. The ice cream was delicious and the menu had unique items that were also delicious.
