Doc’s Caboose Reviews
“What a place for a model train store! Real trains go by 20 feet from the front door. Great selection, and the people are the most helpful and kind I have come across in a while. It’s really great that they are modelers, too. I had a great time shopping and learned some things as well.” -John G.

“Stopped in today while I was in town for work. Wow, what a great shop! As a scratch builder, I have been looking for a shop like this for a long time. There are plenty of detail parts and kits that are hard to find elsewhere. Doc greeted me at the door and graciously gave me a tour of his layout. One of the best things I purchased today was a set of engineering drawings from the Missouri Pacific Railroad. I’m looking forward to incorporating these into my layout. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.” -Benjamin H.

“Very nice place! There are model trains for sale, but also a large selection of tracks, wheels, and other accessories with those things! They also sell shirts, signs, CDs, and other railroad memorabilia. The owner, Doc, is very friendly. If you’re a model railroader, or a railfan in general, I recommend stopping by!” -Jaemyn W.

“Great selection and prices. Doc’s is my son’s favorite place to dream and explore his train options. Our recent trip was especially great since he was old enough to get his H gauge train and tracks he has always wanted.” -Scott S.
