About. Rob and Rachel Jenkins learned about the ohDEER brand in 2024, and it didn’t take long for the couple to decide they wanted to do some more digging. By February 2025, they became franchise owners and were ecstatic to join the ohDEER team! After growing up in farming communities (Rachel in Illinois and Rob in Iowa), the Jenkins have a passion for the outdoors. Although the outdoors all too often translates to a tick or mosquito infestation and/or devastation from deer feeding, ohDEER is helping change the narrative in a natural, safe way. The parents of 3 boys, Rob and Rachel have been proud to serve their community in a variety of roles by offering sports coaching and classroom help. When the Jenkins aren’t helping their valued clients, they enjoy spending time with their family and out in nature.

For the first time in years, I’ve been able to enjoy flowering plants and vegetables in my gardens without wrapping them in chicken wire and whatever I can find to protect them from deer. We typically have a family of 7 deer that visit multiple times per day and feast on the garden, flower beds, newly planted trees, and bird feeders.
