About. Linda Ellbee and her husband got their start in business back in 2008, when they began selling their garlic rub blend (a creation all their own!) at festivals across the country. During their travels, the Ellbees made friends all over the nation who were also selling one-of-a-kind products that just aren’t available anywhere else.
Over time, though, the Ellbees tired of traveling and were ready to exchange their suitcases for something a little more permanent. In 2016, they opened Ellbee’s General Store and stocked it with a unique assortment of merchandise that customers weren’t finding at other local stores. Over the years, the Ellbee’s have continued to expand their business ventures, but there are some things that haven’t changed. All these years later, Ellbee’s General Store is still a locally owned and operated business where you’re sure to find special, hard-to-find-elsewhere products. As the Ellbees say: “Ellbee’s General Store has something for everyone. Come explore a local gem.”

“This place is so much fun, and the food is fantastic. They have a myriad of candies and sodas, doughnuts and other pastries, boba teas, and a huge variety of coffees (hot and cold). There are three different shops outside in The Gathering Spot with hard to find merchandise. The staff is super friendly and the owners do everything they can to make you feel at home. Ellbee’s Garlic Seasonings are very unique and as great flavor to meats and vegetables. Once a month they hold dinners to showcase various foods and drinks. The food truck has a great menu with delicious foods, and the Gathering Spot has special events like movie nights and specialty acts. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.” -Kimberly S.

“So glad we randomly stopped here! This is what small coffee shops should be like. The coffee was delicious, ice cream options were a delight and the service was top notch. Maria, you made our quick stop unforgettable. You were sweet to my wife, kids and clearly a genuinely kind person. While I don’t live here, when I drive this way I’ll be sure to come back after this” -Taylor D.

“Wow! So much to choose from at this sweets and gifts shop! We wanted dessert and the ice cream didn’t disappoint. I also got a frappe which was made perfectly. The employees were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We ended up also purchasing the coffee by the pound. Their sweets area was almost impossible to resist! We also saw many cute gift ideas, although, I’d love to see more locally made items. I’d definitely be back and will be! I recommend to anyone looking for something sweet or unique. The decor alone is reason enough to stop in. Check out the bar and counter tops” -Amanda
