One day, he was talking with someone in the gym who asked what he was going to school for. Eric’s reply? Business. What the person thought Eric said? Fitness. This conversation, though, actually made Eric reconsider a business degree, as he realized fitness would be more suited to his abilities and personality than sitting behind a desk each day. Today, Eric enjoys helping others fall in love with fitness, and he’s worked with a range of people—from ages 12 to 83!

Experienced. At Pushing Limits Fitness, there are three trainers total: Eric, Marie Koch, and Tyler Barr. While Eric has 11 years of experience as a personal trainer, the entire team boasts over 30 years of experience. As such, the dedicated crew is here to help you achieve your fitness goals through hard work and dedication, no matter what those goals may be!

Goals. If you’ve never been active before, the idea of getting fit may feel daunting (if not impossible). Luckily, though, you don’t have to start out doing 100 squats or 50 pushups. Instead, you’ll work with your trainer who is passionate about helping you set and then achieve your goals. You won’t have to be a fitness guru by day three of training, as your trainer will help you whittle down your goals a little each session…step by step and rep by rep. 

Education. The Pushing Limits Fitness team doesn’t just want their clients to do what they say to do. Instead, they want to teach their clients the finer points of exercise and nutrition so that they become well educated! When clients know the why behind fitness and proper nutrition, they’ll feel more empowered to stick to their exercise regimen. Eric’s ultimate goal is for his clients to get to the point where a trainer isn’t needed yet clients still want them for the motivation and extra push that keeps them on track with their fitness goal.
