Meet the Owner. McDowell Mountain Music Lessons owner, Brandon Croft, was studying music and playing in a jazz combo at Mesa Community College. At the time, there was a girl in the combo who taught piano at a music store called Stages. She referred Brandon to Stages, where Brandon went on to teach for 13 years. However, Stages later closed down abruptly. As such, Brandon took a leap of faith, found a teaching space, and started McDowell Mountain Music Lessons. Ever since, McDowell Mountain Music Lessons has been helping individuals learn to how to sing and play music.

McDowell Mountain Music Lessons Reviews

“My 8 year old daughter began drum lessons with Jim Zupancic. She’s now 11 and is nailing it. Her quick success prompted my then 10 year old daughter to begin lessons with Jim and she’s also nailing it now! Their success prompted my wife to also begin drum lessons. Three very different learning styles and Jim expertly adapted to each. He’s super patient and his teaching style is uniquely adapted to each student. His history in the drum industry is unmatched and his teaching style reflects it. Could not recommend another person more highly than Jim!”—Brian S.
