Meet the Owner: PrintCo was started in 1972, but owner John McElvogue purchased the business in 2010. In fact, John was in IT for a number of years, until the economic recession of 2007 devasted the industry. John was unemployed for two years, and, at over 50 years of age, no jobs were available.

John decided to create his own job. At first, John wasn’t interested in printing, but he came across a printing business for sale. The business was in trouble but had a good customers’ list. John then purchased the business in 2010 and has since made PrintCo successful. John says he, “helps his customers get customers.”
