Guitars & Amplifiers: The Music Store carries a large selection of quality guitars and guitar accessories, as well as other stringed & fretted instruments. They are proud to stock Alvarez, Ibanez, Martin, Peavey, Tom Anderson, & Yamaha. The Music Store also carries guitar and bass amplifiers to meet any need. Their well-stocked guitar amp and bass amp rooms provide the perfect setting to compare amps of different brands or different features side-by-side.

Band & Orchestra: Visit The Music Store for all of your Brass, Woodwind, & Stringed Instrument needs! They carry teacher approved, top-quality musical instruments for band and orchestra students, as well as band and orchestra accessories.

Rentals: The Music Store is proud to offer high-quality band & orchestra instrument rentals. All instruments are adjusted before they go out on the showroom floor. Instruments are rented on a month-to-month basis and can be returned any time. Payments are easy—pay online, automatically charge your credit or debit card each month, or simply mail in a check.

Repairs: The Guitar Service Center is The Music Store’s onsite repair shop for stringed and fretted instruments, specializing in repairs and restorations of vintage and modern stringed instruments.

Meet the Owners: JP Escobedo has been at The Music Store for 33 years and his partner, Merri Lewter, for 26 years. They worked there for the original owner, then bought the business with a vision to serve the community to the very best of their potential. They didn’t want to do it halfway—it was excellence or nothing!

JP is 3rd generation Mesa resident. At first, he was going to be a school music teacher, but instead became a pro musician, worked at The Music Store, and then bought it. JP’s partner, Merri, runs the business side of things and likes to stay behind the scenes. But JP says Merri is a tremendous asset to The Music Store.

A Fine-Tuned Business. Both JP and Merri are incredibly proud of their staff, who are very smart people in their own right. Families, teachers, beginners, and hobbyists can walk in and get unsurpassed professional guidance and assistance.
