Honest Ingredients. In 1997, Kneaders Bakery & Café began baking traditional, European bread made with three simple ingredients—flour, water, and salt. Once the founders mastered these bread-making techniques, they tested countless recipes and developed a unique flour blend. Soon, they started baking their signature artisan breads in their hometown of Orem, Utah.
Twenty-two years later, the Kneaders Bakery & Café menu has grown, but honest ingredients are still used to craft everything they serve.
Menu: Every loaf of bread is made fresh daily and all bread is baked in Italian hearthstone ovens. Menu choices include: breakfast items, sandwiches, refreshing salads, hearty soups, breads, kids’ meals, dozens of handmade pastries and desserts, coffee drinks, smoothies, and beverages. Like Kneaders’ hearth breads, these menu items are made with honest, whole ingredients.
Kneaders Bakery & Café also features a new catering menu with plenty of fresh options to choose from for your next party or event.
The Shelf. Kneaders Bakery & Café also offers gift baskets, like Kneaders Best and their Cookies and Sweets Box. Unique home décor, such as dishware, aprons, and pillows, can also be found. Gift cards are available, as well.
Giving Back. Charitable giving is important to Kneaders Bakery & Café and is part of the foundation of their company. Their bakeries focus on improving their local communities through alleviating hunger, supporting schools, and fundraising for children’s hospitals. Day-old bread is donated to local non-profits and charities.
Family Owned and Operated. Today, Kneaders Bakery & Café is still headquartered in Orem, Utah, and operated by founders, Gary and Colleen Worthington. Several 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th generation members of the Worthington family have carried on this legacy in a variety of capacities, from company leadership to guest service in their bakeries. Now boasting 59 stores, Kneaders Bakery & Café is a family oriented company. Every employee is treated like part of the family.

“Tried Kneaders the first time with a gift card. Glad I did. Next time went with a friend and she ordered. We shared a large chicken raspberry salad and a carrot cake. The order was huge and so delicious. There was plenty of chicken and feta cheese for both of us and leftovers for my dinner. The carrot cake was awesome, but too much cream cheese frosting which wasn’t overly sweet. This was my first time going inside and we saw the line was really long. But the staff was quick and helpful so it went quick. I love the decor and the gift baskets. Which would be a lovely gift (hint)! “This was my first time here. Dropped in with a friend to grab a bite.. they had lots of soup & sandwich’s to pick from. I had the fiesta chicken and my friend had broccoli cheese in a sourdough bowl. Everything was good. I also bought a lemon blueberry loaf. I had a slice for breakfast it was really delicious!
